We are pleased to today announce our partnership with the Workforce Development Trust, as part of our commitment to providing effective training to companies and their employees in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Workforce Development Trust (WD Trust) is a not-for-profit provider of workforce training and learning supplies. They run a number of skills initiatives for a range of business sectors, including via the Skills for Health and People 1st programmes. They have worked with a variety of organisations in their training provision, including the NHS, armed forces, local governments, police and fire services.
Under the partnership, Protecta Services will exclusively supply online-based courses, aimed to promote safety across workplaces, allow employers to fulfil their legal duties and increase the skills of staff. All content is created in association with the WD Trust, utilising their knowledge to create engaging and effective learning resources.
Training covers a broad range of topics, including best workplace practice for reducing the spread of coronavirus, working in vehicles, visiting other people’s homes, close proximity working, construction and outdoor work. Each course fulfils government guidelines as well as standard workplace compliance under the Health and Safety in Criminal Law Act.
The training also compliment our repertoire of services, including teaching employees how to properly use PPE and assisting with the implementation of end-to-end COVID-safety solutions in your business.
Courses are tailorable to the unique needs of your workplace, offering a supportive skills resource for healthcare settings, offices, warehouses, restaurants, hospitality venues and other facilities. Understanding the risks present in your business and feedback from your employees allow us to further provide refined training solutions, in line with the expertise of the WD Trust.
