How to ensure your workplace is safe

This course is vital for any professional that is ever required to work from an office. Even if your organisation is operating a work from home policy, any professional that enters an office building without understanding safe practice poses a contamination threat to the entire workforce. This course is especially important for furloughed workers returning to work as they may not be aware of newly implemented procedures.

By this point, your workforce has already learnt about Covid-19 awareness and safe working practice during the core course. This course supports your workforce to translate this learning into practical steps whilst in the office work environment.

Keeping office visitors safe

What steps should your workforce be taking to reduce the risk of infection from third party office visitors? We look at how your workforce can better manage the flow of people in and out of the office to avoid potentially high-risk situations such as queuing. We also look at how to minimise the risk of visitor contamination through effective hand washing stations and PPE procedures.

Social distancing around the office

By completing our Covid-19 workforce awareness and safe working practice course, your workforce will understand the importance of social distancing and how correct procedure can slow the spread of infection. However, what does this mean within an office environment? How do you social distance in a confined space such as a locker room or when travelling to and from work? When social distancing is not possible what steps can be taken to reduce the risk of transmission?

Socialising safely within the office

Socialising within the office environment is vitally important for your workforce’s mental wellbeing and happiness (especially after lockdown and social isolation). However, office socialising now has the potential to spread Covid-19 rapidly unless certain procedures are followed. In this module we look at how your workforce can still interact and enjoy being social whilst minimising the risk of contamination.

Cleaning and sanitising the office workplace

There has never been a more important time for your workforce to support you in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitisation of the workplace. However, this may be a new process for many, so this module covers common questions about the types of cleaning products that are effective against Covid-19 and how to safely dispose of potentially contaminated items such as PPE.

Identifying risk and reporting concerns

There will be times where hygiene will be comprised to some degree within the office. It is important that your workforce understands how to identify risk and report their concerns. It is also important that your workforce learns from mistakes to avoid future contamination risks.

We also look at how your workforce can support our NHS by operating an effective NHS Test and Trace procedure and by reporting concerns.
